Held in Seongnam-dong, where young people drawn by the former industrial district designation once lingered in teahouses and helped culture bloom through literature and romance, the Seongnam-dong Coffee Festival is a festival for everyone who loves coffee. Held every fall, this citizen-participation coffee festival is created by local merchants and people working in the coffee industry in Seongnam-dong. It offers a rich program, from hand-drip demonstrations, latte art experiences, and brewing competitions to tasting events featuring a variety of coffee brands. Along with coffee competitions and performances featuring top baristas from across the country, there are also hands-on booths, live shows, and food markets that families can enjoy, giving visitors of all ages plenty to enjoy.
