2026 Pekan Budaya Hanbok

2025 Hanbok Culture Week is a nationwide celebration held every third week of October to share the beauty and tradition of hanbok and encourage people to wear it in everyday life. Its slogan is Modern Hanbokpan, the Center of K-Culture. Hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea Craft & Design Foundation, presents fashion shows, performances, awards for hanbok professionals, hands-on activities, and more at major locations across Korea. With around 330 participating venues nationwide, it has become a cultural festival for everyone to enjoy. Special events in Hong Kong, New York, and Berlin share the beauty of hanbok with the world, while the online Character, Wearing Hanbok campaign featuring six local-government mascots and an art balloon exhibition offer new ways to experience hanbok. Like its slogan, Modern Hanbokpan, this meaningful week celebrates the beauty and value of hanbok in today’s flourishing era of Korean culture.
