Gimbap is not Gimcheon's signature specialty, but the event was planned around the city's symbolic image of "Gimbap Heaven Gimcheon". The festival centers on hands-on experiences, exhibitions, performances, and play content themed around gimbap, so both Gimcheon residents and visitors can enjoy it together.
