Since 2010, it has worked to bridge cultural gaps across regions through exchanges with Gwangju, Daegu, Daejeon, and Busan, extending beyond Seoul's Daehakro district to serve the entire nation. Through sustained international cultural partnerships, the festival has expanded its horizons, culminating this year in Asia-wide joint creation projects with partners in Sapporo, Tokyo, China, and Taiwan, plus special programs such as D.FESTA in Tokyo.
