김해분청도자기축제

The Gimhae Buncheong Pottery Festival is a signature ceramics festival held in Gimhae, the birthplace of early Joseon Buncheong ware, and has established itself as a cultural arts venue where tradition and modernity meet. Marking its 30th edition this year, the festival presents a wide range of programs under the slogan "The Time of Buncheong, Meeting Sejong," offering hands-on ways to experience the artistry and practical beauty of Gimhae Buncheong ceramics. With exhibitions by master potters, pottery-making and traditional kiln experiences, and creative showcases that blend contemporary ceramics, it is designed as an interactive festival where visitors can see, feel, and take part. Family and children’s programs make it an enjoyable event for all ages. As a meaningful cultural celebration that shares the beauty and spirit of Gimhae’s Buncheong ware with the world, the festival will also serve as a valuable platform for preserving ceramic traditions and opening new possibilities in ceramic art.
