Why can't I warm to CORTIS at all?
The OP soured on CORTIS after seeing their reactions during a TWS performance and finds their free-spirited musician image unconvincing.
At first I liked them because a few of them were handsome, but after seeing them cracking up while watching TWS perform, my impression of them completely changed. They have this cocky delinquent concept, but maybe it's because it feels like that's what they're really like and not just a concept? They're going for this free-spirited musician image, but it's not like they're even good at it. I just can't warm to them.

Without the HYBE and BTS halo, they'd probably have only half the popularity they do now. For supposed artists, they seemed way too reliant on one particular member lolllllll. I watched a video of their US show and it was boring. That YouTuber praising it as insanely hip just seems blinded by national pride lollll. Take away the national pride and it's just a boring show, like, what even.
They're obviously idols to anyone looking, but they seem to think they're artists.
Even the fans who like them all seem to have a screw loose somehow.
