"They turned Seo Kang-joon into someone with a broken personality"… viewers furious over the drama's absurd ending [SC Issue]
KBS2's drama starring Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin has wrapped up, and viewers are pouring out complaints over the ending. In particular, the abrupt shift in attitude of Namgung Ho (played by Seo Kang-joon) and the two leads' breakup ending have sparked outrage, with viewers asking, "What on earth was this story even trying to say?"
One viewer said, "I started watching because I really liked Seo Kang-joon, but he suddenly turned into a villain, someone with a broken personality, and that's how it ended," adding, "This drama even made me dislike Seo Kang-joon. Is this really what the writer intended?" They went on to point out, "After a certain episode, Ahn Eun-jin was crying constantly too — it got to the point where it was just sad to watch. I have no idea what story this drama was even trying to tell."

Seo Kang-joon and Ahn Eun-jin's acting was such a waste... I hope both actors land good projects next time 😭😭😭😭 The writer tried as hard as possible to make Namgung Ho look good, but even that failed. Turns out he was just a stereotypical toxic Korean guy and the ultimate avoidant type.
Namgung Ho, a villain, someone with a broken personality...???? I watched the whole thing but I can't relate at all — like did we even watch the same drama 😭 I get that it's a messy drama... but considering they went all in on that mess through episode 13, I think episode 14's ending actually wrapped things up pretty decently
It's hard to even say the actor got scammed by the synopsis here — it's not like it went off the rails midway, people were saying it was bad from the very start.
