Koreans’ ‘zero interest in royalty’ phenomenon..

< What Koreans are like when it comes to Japan’s imperial family >

People over there are actually baffled that we aren’t interested in foreign royal families

So are we interested in the British royal family, which is “much hotter worldwide”...(?)

Honestly, they’re also just a bunch of ‘who even gives a sh*t’ to us.....

Even if Korea still had a royal family, I wouldn’t care, so another country’s royals are the ultimate ‘who even gives a sh*t’ lol. I usually respect all kinds of fan interests, but honestly, the one thing I understand least in this world is stanning another country’s royal family........... What do you even stan them for?

Isn’t it normal to briefly make a fuss when there’s some juicy gossip and otherwise not care? Why are we supposed to be interested in another country’s royals? Unless it’s like the old days, when they actually ruled and it mattered who controlled the king or who the likely heir was, why would the general public care;; It’s not like they’re so insanely gorgeous that they put celebrities to shame. Dedicated royal-family nerds are another story, I guess.

Zero interest. The British royal family is probably fine because they’re rich, but other countries’ royal families just look like tax thieves to me, so why bother? We’ve already reached the age of AI, and I still don’t understand why kings are necessary.
