It's not about rights or whatever, it's just not the kind of song you'd sing at a concert — she's got tons of other songs she could sing, who'd even think of putting a survival-show song in the setlist lol. She basically carried that 0% survival track to that level of fame on her own name lol. They must've put in a hell of an effort to book Lee Ji-eun, calling her just an 'event singer' is ridiculous lol. I never thought hard about it either, but it's such a small thing where the wording changes everything, so it's funny this suddenly blew up over it

For Lee Ji-eun's own songs, she's at least the one who writes the lyrics, writes the melody, and directs it herself haha. That one, she just sang hard following someone else's direction, so of course it wouldn't feel like her own song haha. But they stacked the harmonies insanely well so I get why fans love it

It was the signal song for I-LAND, so Lee Ji-eun's version came out before the show started, then it became the trainees' song during the show, the trainees sang it, and I think once the debut lineup was picked ENHYPEN sang it — feels like she just did the guide version lol
