K-pop that became a minor talking point in Brazil’s election scene
Brazilian K-pop fans used Wonho’s Better Than Me in a Lula campaign edit, and Lula even reacted to it.
It was Wonho’s Better Than Me
Apparently K-pop fandoms showed their support and solidarity through fan edits(?) during Brazil’s recent presidential election
One of the videos that got a shout-out⬇️
President Lula and Vice President Geraldo Alckmin were AI-composited into Wonho’s challenge video......
Surprisingly, it seems this blew up more than expected, because a video of President Lula watching and reacting to it even surfaced;;

Wow, they even make the slightly janky parts work. It looks like the people in it actually danced it
Oh, this song is good. It gives me early-’00s nostalgia
