Aside from the trolls who are always forcing everything into a negative discussion, it was freaking fun—there were tons of comebacks and debuts, and even loads of songs climbing back up the charts, so there was so much to enjoy. If everyone else is having fun and you can't join in, then you sit sulking alone in a corner going, “Ugh, this is boring,” that sounds like a you problem, not a K-pop problem.
It's because even as things develop, the people at the top haven't changed in decades. Not the company CEOs—the investors.
It was just a COVID boom. Now the bubble is bursting.
