The 34th Heungbu Festival, themed on the classic novel Heungbugjeon, is a traditional folk festival hosted by Namwon City, Jeollabuk-do. Celebrating sisterhood, gratitude, sharing, and good fortune, it takes place October 9–11, 2026 at Gwanghallu Garden and surroundings. By city ordinance, Heungbu Festival day is designated as Namwon Citizens' Day. Traditionally held on the 9th day of the 9th lunar month, the date has been adjusted as needed.
