Stray Kids released Episode 2 of a scripted “STAY Company” office-spy comedy for 2026 STAYweeK, involving a stolen USB, a computer password, corporate intrigue, amnesia, and a fabricated brotherhood.

Why Koreans care

The sketch compresses familiar Korean TV-drama conventions into idol variety comedy: rigid workplace titles such as “department manager,” comically trivial sales figures treated as corporate triumphs, and melodramatic tropes involving amnesia, missing family, secret identities, and espionage. Calling the event “STAYweeK” also enables the Korean hashtag “스테이크,” which can be read both as “STAY week” and as the loanword “steak.”

What the words mean

“너 오늘부터 이민노 동생 이현진 해라” is deliberately absurd role assignment, not a genuine revelation about the members: Hyunjin is abruptly ordered to become “Lee Hyunjin,” Lee Know/Lee Minho’s younger brother. Likewise, “양정인의 전부를 빼앗아 줄게” (“I’ll take everything from Yang Jeongin”) belongs to the exaggerated betrayal-drama register of the sketch, not a serious threat.
