In the Korean comments

Several of the Korean-language comments repeat one line with small changes, and the wording is the interesting part. One reads, in translation, "Leave him be, Hongjoong is ATEEZ too." Another swaps in the title: "Leave him be, he's ATEEZ's captain." One uses a plural, "Leave them be, they're ATEEZ." One begins with "??:", as if the line were spoken by an unseen voice. A separate comment says, in translation, "As expected, he's ATEEZ too...." Other comments are more specific about the video itself, and they are commenters' own readings. One says it looks like stop-motion animation. Another says it's funny to imagine each frame being shot one at a time. A third says the visible passage of time is the key point, and jokes that the captain must have been rolling around alone for 25 minutes. Two more give him nicknames: "달팽이가 된 김홍중" (dalpaengi-ga doen Kim Hongjoong, Kim Hongjoong turned snail) and "작고 소중한 내 다람쥐" (jakgo sojunghan nae daramjwi, my small, precious squirrel).

What the words mean

The repeated line is "냅둬 쟤 에이티즈래" (naepdwo jyae ATEEZ-rae). Literally it is "Leave it alone, that kid is ATEEZ, apparently." 냅둬 (naepdwo) is a casual contraction of "leave it be." 쟤 (jyae) is a casual "that kid" or "that one." The ending 래 (-rae) is reported speech, meaning "they say" or "I heard." Several commenters put the line in quotation marks as if someone else were saying it, and another writes "??:" in front. The commenters use it as a casual, joking shrug, as if being ATEEZ explains whatever is going on. The comment "역시 그도 에이티즈...." (yeoksi geudo ATEEZ, as expected, he's ATEEZ too) points the same way. The register is playful and affectionate, not literal.
