What happened

The mood film follows a narrator who takes a mysterious man’s ticket after claiming that a one-dollar bill fell down a drain. After an auction, the narrator returns with the answer “People move for a dollar,” only to find that the man has disappeared.

In the Korean comments

One comment points to a detail worth revisiting, saying in translation: “The scene where they all synchronize in the elevator is so sharp, and Jiseok’s full hair makes him look like a fluffy puppy.”

What the words mean

찢었다 (jjijeotda, “tore it apart”) is literally the past tense of “to tear,” but here it is exaggerated, casual praise meaning “killed it” or “nailed it.” The comment 뭔지모르겠지만 또 찢었다 (mwonji moreugetjiman tto jjijeotda, “I don’t know what this is, but they killed it again”) praises the film even while admitting that its story is unclear.
