What happened

ATEEZ posted a 2026 Chuseok (Korean thanksgiving) greeting video in which members talk about their holiday plans, including eating songpyeon (a traditional rice cake).

Why Koreans care

The video is built around Chuseok, Korea's harvest holiday, and one member singles out songpyeon, the half-moon-shaped rice cake traditionally made and eaten around this holiday — the member jokes it's so good "someone might steal it," so they'd better eat it fast.
