Raaaaa

What happened

ILLIT members perform a dance clip titled "Raaaaa," with two dancers moving from pointed-arm poses into bouncing steps — one in baggy jeans and sneakers, the other in a denim mini skirt and tan boots.

In the Korean comments

Several comments call 원희 (Wonhee) and 이로하 (Iroha), also referred to by the nickname 로하 (Roha), the group's "세상에서 제일 귀여운 막내들" (the cutest "maknae" members in the world) — but the warmth isn't universal. One comment breaks from that tone, saying in translation, "In the end, an idol's YouTube channel only ends up automatically promoting a bad song." Another comment is a long message addressed directly to the channel's manager, asking them to pass it on to Wonhee: the commenter writes that they had no interest in idols before, but were won over by Wonhee's warmth, and thanks her for "existing." A third commenter writes, in translation, "I'm from Mexico, and that song is literally everywhere lol," adding that they're using a translator to write the comment.

What the words mean

막내 (maknae) literally means "the youngest child" in a family. In idol-fan comments like these, it's used to mean "the youngest member(s) of the group" — here, Wonhee and Iroha. The register is casual and affectionate, a term of endearment rather than a literal statement about birth order.
