What happened

Eunchae asks her mother to call her pretty again, “as if I’m hearing it for the first time,” and later says she received her mother’s approval that day.

In the Korean comments

The family-role joke keeps expanding. One comment reads, in translation, “Mother-in-law, you’re adorable,” while another says Eunchae’s mother is “the winner”—playfully imagining how enviable it would be to have Eunchae in the family.

What the words mean

“은채 내가 낳을걸” (Eunchae naega naeulgeol, “I should have given birth to Eunchae”) is not a literal expression of regret. Here it is affectionate exaggeration: Eunchae is so lovable that the speaker wishes she were their own daughter.
