The 정읍 구절초 축제 is held every October, at the peak of autumn, in a 150,000㎡ gugjeolcho flower garden, the largest in East Asia, set against a pine forest with pristine mountain streams and beautiful natural scenery. Walking along trails scented with pine and the gentle fragrance of flowers, you can feel true healing and comfort in nature. It is also one of Korea’s top photo spots, especially at misty dawn or in the warm afternoon sun, making it a favorite among photographers. Along with the pure white gugjeolcho, the best gift nature gives to people, visitors can enjoy a wide range of hands-on programs themed around local resources and plenty of Jeongeup’s regional agricultural and specialty products, making it the perfect place to savor the spirit of autumn with all five senses.
