Iksan, a city of jewelry and culture, is home to Korea’s only precious metals and jewelry industrial complex, established in 1976, and boasts a history as precious as a gemstone. In particular, Inhwadong is a place where oral traditions and living culture have endured through the years, now being reborn as an immersive setting that combines them with AR and RPG technology. An intriguing legend tells of 2t of gold bars buried beneath the former Japanese farm warehouse in Juhyeondong, a designated National Registered Cultural Heritage site. The story gained further substance through testimony from the farmer’s grandson. Moving between legend and fact, it makes Iksan an even more captivating destination. Against this backdrop, the 3rd 보물찾기 축제 - 금괴를 찾아라! offers a special experience where history, imagination, and adventure meet in the treasure-filled city of Iksan.
