To celebrate the 579th anniversary of the proclamation of Hunminjeongeum, the 2025 Hangeul Day Cultural Festival will take place at 세종대왕릉 on 2025. 10. 9.(목), under the theme “여주 as Dreamed by 세종대왕.” On the special-event stage in front of the 세종대왕 statue, enjoy the musical , a fun way to learn Hangeul, the alphabet, and etiquette with the Hangeul heroes, along with the interactive performance , featuring exciting Pinkfong songs reimagined around Hangeul. Exhibitions include works from the 13th 전국 한글휘호대회 of 세종대왕 and the 9th 아름다운 한글먹빛누리전. A wide range of hands-on programs will be held in front of the 세종대왕 역사문화관, including learning Hangeul through movement with a Hangeul mini-cube, emotions through Hangeul calligraphy, art through Hangeul graffiti, stories through storytelling, taste through making traditional 꽃산병, and fragrance through experiencing the scent of 세종대왕’s cherry tree. Throughout 세종대왕릉, the “쉼터 작은 음악회” will also present diverse performances, including classical music, pungmul, and fusion gugak.
