The "you kept asking me to come" part seriously isn't great, but what's wrong with Heo Young-saeng personally renting a cafe and holding his own birthday cafe?
I don't see what's wrong with saying it would be difficult to visit the birthday cafe. A lot of celebrities don't want it to look like they're privately contacting one particular fan, and renting a place with their own money to spend 2 hours with fans sounds nice. Still, when the fan asked, it would've been better to tell them in advance that a separate fan event was being prepared.
But the celebrity might just not have wanted to attend a private gathering organized by a fan. They tried to say no indirectly, so how many times did the fan have to keep asking before the celebrity openly took a dig at them?
