세상이 밝은 이유를 찾았다..캐럿이 남자를 밝히는게 아니라 문준휘가 너무 밝다구요✨️🐈❤️
What happened
HYBE released the first trailer, titled "Awakening," for SEVENTEEN member JUN's debut solo EP, titled "9," with the album dropping at 2026.09.28, 10:00 CST / 11:00 KST.
In the Korean comments
A few commenters play directly off the EP's title. One writes "구미호준 미쳣다" (guminho Jun michyeotda) — roughly "fox-spirit Jun, I'm losing it" — nicknaming him after 구미호 (gumiho), the nine-tailed fox of Korean folklore, a wordplay that only lands because the EP is called "9." Another comment leans into exaggerated, theatrical fan enthusiasm by writing in the voice of a doctor addressing a patient: in translation, it reads "Patient, you need to calm down. We can't begin treatment until you calm down. Please close your eyes before you calm down. Patient, please calm down and look at Moon Junhwi" — a joke format where over-the-top excitement over an idol is staged as a medical emergency.
What the words mean
The top comment reads, in translation: "I found out why the world is bright... it's not that CARATs have a thing for men, it's that Moon Junhwi is just too bright." The Korean verb 밝히다 (balkida) is doing double duty here: colloquially, "남자를/여자를 밝히다" (namja reul, men) (yeoja reul balkida, overly into women) means to be overly into men/women (a mildly teasing, informal phrase), while 밝다 (balda) simply means "bright" or "radiant." The commenter flips the slang meaning aside to land on the literal one, joking that fans aren't the ones who are "into him" — he himself is just that radiant. It's a light, affectionate pun, not a literal claim about anyone's behavior.
