Now in its 20th year, the Boeun Jujube Festival is a leading Korean agricultural specialty festival where visitors can discover premium Boeun jujubes, the region's signature product, along with other farm specialties grown in clean natural surroundings. The 2025 Boeun Jujube Festival was recognized for outstanding operation and selected as the 2026 Best Festival designated by Chungcheongbuk-do; it has also been chosen as the Best Agricultural Specialty Sales Promotion Festival in Chungcheongbuk-do for three consecutive times since 2017, earning nationwide competitiveness. The festival also promotes the history and quality of Boeun jujubes, once offered to the king, and has established itself as Boeun's representative festival. During the festival period, sales booths for jujubes and farm specialties, an online market, and a live jujube order call center help visitors purchase Boeun farm products easily from anywhere in the country. A wide range of cultural and arts performances and hands-on programs, including the opening and closing ceremonies, offer plenty to see and enjoy, while families and visitors of all ages can fully experience the autumn atmosphere of Boeun. Through diverse programs linking agriculture, culture, and tourism, the festival aims to showcase the excellence of local specialties, attract visitors, boost the local economy, and enhance Boeun's value as a fall travel brand.
