What turned out better than expected in The Remarried Empress drama

was the CGI (+ location shoots)… A lot of people worried it would look ridiculous, but

it actually did a pretty good job bringing to life what I'd imagined while reading the web novel.

The insanely vast kingdoms that are basically the symbol of romance fantasy, and the lavish medieval European-style architecture.

It honestly feels like watching an international series, and it's so refreshing.

And the thing I was most worried about & excited for when it got adapted into a drama:

the scenes with Queen (Heinrey's bird version).

In the web novel, Heinrey's bird form is so handsome and huge that you can seriously get butterflies over a literal bird,

(please read the web novel seriously my love my Heinrey my Queen please see the original description seriously seriously pleeease)

then Queen got a little smaller in the webtoon,

and in the drama Queen is basically pet-bird size and way too cute—other than that,

the CGI here was decent too.

The scene everyone's talking about where Heinrey turns human again still can't touch web-novel Heinrey,

but I think they pulled it off pretty well with lol editing tricks? How does it look to you?
