Why Koreans care

YG Entertainment runs a recurring "춤" (CHOOM) sub-series across its roster — WINNER, BLACKPINK, TREASURE, and now BABYMONSTER have each gotten one — a plain, usually single-take wide shot released after the MV specifically so fans and dance-cover creators can study formations without cuts. The word choice matters: "춤" is the everyday, native-Korean word for dance, not "댄스" (the English loanword) or "안무" (the formal term for choreography). Using the plainest possible word is a deliberate branding move — "just us dancing," unpolished and skill-forward — which fits YG's habit of selling its groups on raw performance ability rather than concept spectacle.

What the words mean

Viewers outside the K-pop promo cycle often assume a "performance video" is the real MV and read the bare set, single outfit, and lack of storyline as a low-budget or afterthought release. Within Korean fan culture it's understood as the opposite: a purpose-built bonus clip whose entire point is unobstructed choreography for critique, fancam comparison, and cover-dance learning — the MV (with its sets and narrative) is a separate, already-released piece. Separately, the transcript's odd fragments ("I'm a teacher," "gur in my face," "I'm in the spaceship") aren't stylized Konglish lyricism — they're YouTube's auto-captioning mangling clearly-sung English lyrics, not a translation or language issue at all.
